Social Copy

In an effort to establish relationships with customers, businesses often take on the perspective of a community. What is community? Community is a place where people feel valued, protected, and connected. It is a place people return to, most often because of the benefits they receive from being part of a community. So, it’s smart for businesses to promote the philosophy of community, considering they want customers to return and benefit.

When brainstorming ideas as to how to make the Copycop customers feel part of a community, Bfs|daniels created Social Copy. Social Copy is a facebook fan page that facilitates communication between customers. It is a business forum, focused on generating customer feedpack. Copycop express is a member only discount program; by becoming a member, customers have the benefit of promotions. At Social Copy, these promotions are announced and explained. When talking with Grover Daniels, CEO, Daniels said, “ Most importantly, Social copy is a way to provide feedback to our team regarding products and services Copycop offers.” The aim of Social Copy is to increase traffic and ultimately revenue, by using social media to further promote the business. In essence, it is a microcosm of the social media realm: it is a place where people go to interact. But these interactions are strictly to benefit Copycopexpress and it’s members. Constructive criticism encouraged.
